ABOUT ME

My name is Emily Brafman. I am a native New Yorker currently living in downtown Manhattan. I have a Masters degree and am NYS certified in General and Special Education: Birth through 2nd grade. I am a parent of two teenagers, Nicky and Celia. My husband Michael and I have been navigating the challenges and victories of parenting as well. I have been an early childhood consultant, a preschool teacher and an early intervention specialist for more than 20 years. I created Instincts Parenting Center to share my insights and to offer support to families in need.
